Who am I and why?

I am Shiny! As for "why"?

I reach up and pull a large, dusty book, uneven pages bound in leather peeking out from its hold as I flop into my creaky wooden rocking chair. I blow a cloud of dust off the tome and open the book, the spine creaking as it unfurls

So back in the year of '04 or so when WOTLK had come out, I was about 5 and my family loved WoW. I recall watching them play all together for rare occasions but they mostly solo'd or did their own thing with guilds or PvP. My mom's druid tauren was a character she would often let me play as, since I couldn't read yet I just stayed within Thunderbluff and swam around the main pond as a seal for most of the time, or I was wandering around the buildings admiring my first immersion experience. After she got tired of me parking her cow in the cave ponds she let me make my own character. I remember her with warm fondness, her name was Phrishe, and she was a gnome rouge that had pink hair in pigtails.
